The third on my list of tributes to one-room schoolhouses is in Cloverland Wisconsin.
Welcome to King School. You’ll find it boarded up just off of Highway 13. It was founded in 1916 and closed its doors in 1948. An old merry-go-round still sits outside the school, as if waiting to be played with again. If you try, you just might be able to imagine the children playing on the merry-go-round and hear their laughter still echoing across the schoolyard.
